Away from the spoils of daily grind at Indian northern plains especially in summers if one wish for a release and look to find a place that not only gives a blissful respite but also gives one a chance to spend some tranquil moments at one of the most beautiful freshwater lake in north western himalayas .. this is the place.
Why Chandratal …..can't be just defined in the confines of words but its a feeling that you'll get once you visit the place and on your return ponder on the scenic splendour that you just came out of . After my third trip to the moon lake I did realize why and what attracts me to this place.
